BanglaConvert.org is a small, independent website for everyday Bangla writing work in Bangladesh. It is run by Fahim. The project started because Unicode and Bijoy still collide in real offices: a student types in Avro on a phone, a press still wants SutonnyMJ, and the file in the middle looks like nonsense.
The first two tools — Unicode to Bijoy and Bijoy to Unicode — remain the core. Around them we added the other steps people actually take in the same hour: phonetic typing, a visual keyboard, Bangla dates, numbers in digits and words, a word counter, an encoding detector, and a text cleaner.
What we are not
We are not Avro Keyboard, not the Bijoy software company, and not a government portal. Brand names on this site are used only to describe typing methods and fonts that people already know. We do not sell a desktop IME and we do not claim to be the Unicode Consortium.
How the tools work
Most tools run in your browser with JavaScript. Unicode ↔ Bijoy conversion is processed on the server when you click Convert so large documents can use the same mapping engine. We do not create user accounts. Converted text is not stored in a personal profile. See the privacy policy for cookies, analytics and ads.
