Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Bangla Converter Lite (“the app”) and its third-party services handle information. The conversion feature itself works on your device. Ads and analytics use Google services and may process device and usage data as described below.
1. Information we do not collect ourselves
We do not create user accounts. We do not read, copy, or upload the Bangla text you type or paste. Conversion between Unicode and Bijoy happens locally on your device. We do not operate our own server that stores that text.
2. Information processed by Google services
The app uses Google SDKs. Those services may process data such as:
- Advertising ID and other device identifiers
- IP address, device type, OS version, and app version
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Ad impressions, clicks, and crash or diagnostic events
- App usage events used to measure and improve the app
We do not sell personal information. Google and its advertising partners may use this data to serve, measure, and (where allowed) personalize ads, and to provide analytics.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads through Google AdMob (banners and occasional interstitials). AdMob and its partners may collect the data listed above to provide ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud, and measure performance.
Where required by law (including the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before using cookies, the advertising identifier, or similar technologies for personalized ads and related purposes. You can choose personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or manage partner purposes in the consent form.
Users in those regions can change or withdraw consent later in the app: About → সম্মতি পরিবর্তন করুন (Privacy options). That button is shown only when Google requires a consent choice.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened and whether the app is stable). This data is used to improve the app. It is processed by Google under their terms. Where consent mode applies, Analytics uses your consent choices for advertising-related signals.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The app does not set its own website cookies. Google’s advertising and analytics SDKs may use cookies, local storage, advertising IDs, or similar technologies on your device to remember choices, personalize ads where allowed, and measure ads and app usage.
6. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google’s consent management platform (UMP) collects consent for advertising, analytics-related advertising signals, and storage technologies, as required by the ePrivacy rules and GDPR/UK GDPR. Other processing by Google may rely on legitimate interests where that is allowed and presented in the consent form. You can object or withdraw consent through the in-app privacy options or device ad settings.
7. Device settings
You can also reset or limit the advertising ID in your Android settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads, depending on the device). Limiting ad tracking may result in less relevant ads; ads may still appear.
8. Children
Bangla Converter Lite is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Data retention
Text you convert is not stored by us on a server. Data processed by Google Ads and Analytics is retained according to Google’s retention settings and policies.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain data, or to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
